Standard Shipping (Excludes furniture and other bulky items)

We offer shipping to the 48 contiguous US states. Standard orders over $250 qualifies for FREE shipping. Standard orders that are $250 and below are charged a flat fee of $25. Standard orders are generally shipped via UPS or USPS.

Local In Home Delivery and Set Up

In home delivery and setup is only available to homes located within 40 miles of our store address. This is a full "white glove" service that includes delivery of all furniture items to the room with full assembly. The charge for this service is $199 and can be added to your cart at checkout. Customers who choose this service and are not eligible will be notified.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at bergbaby@sbcglobal.net. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Pictures of the damage will be requested and can be emailed to bergbaby@sbcglobal.net.

Any damages noted on furniture items received via an LTL Freight Trucking Company must be noted on the delivery paperwork before accepting. We must be notified of freight damage on furniture orders within 48 hours of the delivery. Please send notice to bergbaby@sbcglobal.net

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, including items removed from their original packaging and custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Special orders include but are not limited to glider rockers/recliners.  Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on clearance items or gift cards.

Restocking Fee

In many instances, items purchased from our website must be obtained from the Manufacturer before fulfilling your order. Any order cancelled after it has been shipped from the Manufacturer will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, your refund will be processed. For your security, we do not retain your credit card information and therefor will request this information again in order to complete your refund. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Shipping

Customers who live more than 40 miles from our store can opt to have their order shipped via LTL Freight Carrier. This service offers curbside delivery only and is subject to additional charges. If this option is chosen at check out, we will email you a freight quote to determine the amount due and give instructions on how this charge should be paid. You may also request a freight quote prior to check out by sending us an email at bergbaby@sbcglobal.net.

Prior to shipping your order:

  • All furniture items are thoroughly inspected
  • For added protection, all items are loaded on a pallet and secured with shrink wrap

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email containing a tracking number and a picture of your order. For added convenience, the Freight Company will call you in advance to setup a delivery appointment.

Day of delivery:

  • Please have an adult present to receive the shipment.
  • The furniture items will be secured to a pallet and are oversized and heavy. This will be a curbside delivery and there should be at least one able person present to transition the items into the garage or your home.
  • Prior to accepting the shipment, please inspect all boxes for obvious signs of damage. Also, the items should still be secured to the pallet when received. If not, please note this along with any visible signs of damage on the paperwork prior to accepting. This is important to facilitate a resolution of any potential claim. We must be notified of freight damage on furniture orders within 48 hours of the delivery. Please send notice to bergbaby@sbcglobal.net.
